Suzanne Pleshette

 

Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died on January 19 2008. She was an American actress, voiceactress, TV, and film director. Pleshette began her career in the theatre. She was in films in late 1950s. Later, Pleshette was a prominent actor in films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (12001). Later, she appeared in a variety of television shows, usually in guest roles, and as Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 until 1978. She earned several Emmy Award nominations for her work.
